Latin America On Two Wheels
I have spent a lot of time in Central and South America – mostly working on ships, but also checking out some of the amazing biking opportunities. Latin America is really embracing mountain biking (Oaxaca is one of may favorite places to ride!) and the bikepacking network is exploding. I’m sure I’ll have many more trips down to Central and South America 🙂

Latin America Mountain Biking
I’ve mountain biked in several Latin American countries and they have all been exceptional. Oaxaca was one of my all-time favorite trips and the descents down the slopes of the Andes in Peru was pure magic.

Latin America bikepacking & Touring
There is no shortage of bikepacking and bicycle touring routes across Latin America. A lot of intrepid riders even pedal the full length from the Mexico border (or even the Canadian border) all the way down the tip of Ushuaia. I’m not sure that journey is on my bike-it list, but I’d love to check off some of the more remote and singletrack-heavy routes like the Baja Divide.

Latin America Road & gravel
One of my favorite things to do in a new city is take a bike tour. I’ve checked of Lima, Peru and Medellin, Colombia, but there are lots more Latin American cities I’d like to explore on two wheels!
